Vtg Sonni of San Francisco Navy Blue Wool Derby Hat Wide 。This is a black wool wide brim hat dating to the glamorous 1980s. It has a low rounded crown and is decorated with braid in a flower shape at the back of the crown, with a grosgrain ribbon centre. The edge of the brim is also covered with horsehair braid netting. Horsehair, of course, is not real horsehair, but a millinery term for this type of netting. The hat has a spaghetti strap that would aid in keeping the hat in place but due to age is worn and stretched. It is in very good condition with no noted wear, tear or staining. The label reads \"Sonni San Francisco\" - Sonni Hats of California is actually located in Oakland and was established in 1952, and still in business.
